VETnetwork Australia is delighted to be hosting in Sydney, the 6th Biennial VETnetwork Australia Conference Connections, Capacity and Collaboration.

At this Conference, our aim is to engage with professionals working in vocation and technical education, enterprise, career and transition education. Through discussions at Concurrent Sessions and listening to Keynote Presentations, delegates will explore a number of issues. The theme of this Conference has been identified through feedback from members and discussions at planning meetings. There appears to be a growing need to build opportunities for conversations between key drivers of vocational education and training in schools so connections can be made to allow for quality continuous improvement. It aims to provide a balance of academic and theoretical research, with implementation examples from the community, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration. Delegates will be able to choose learning experiences to enhance their own capacity to deliver vocational education and training in schools.
The Trade Displays will be more comprehensive and include a wider selection of industry support services, together with local initiatives.
In addition to the formal sessions, meal breaks and social occasions will form part of the Conference Program, and will provide you with excellent opportunities to extend your networks and share experiences and new insights with colleagues working in similar environments, from other sectors, and other States and Territories.
